Within 24 Hours we can arrange for a wheelie-bin to be installed in your premises ready to capture your sensitive documents.  All your waste paper, excess scrap, confidential and un-wanted documentation can be placed into your onsite bin – or call us for a one off job specific to your needs.  Plastics and metal should not be placed in document bins as this contaminates the shredding process and may incur further charges.  Your scheduled collection/rotation will then take your full bin and replace it with a clean empty one ready to be filled again.

Once the bin is removed, it is taken to our warehouse in Southport where the contents are manually fed through an industrial shredder. Documents are not stored for lengthy periods and we understand the importance of having sensitive information destroyed within 24 hours.  The fine ’5mm Crosscut’ pulp produced by our industrial shredder is illegible and permanent – piecing togethor any part of a document is near impossible.

Once paper shredding is complete, the pulp is packed tightly into large compacted bundles ready for transportation to a major recycling plant. The recycling process involves water-logging which ultimately reduces the paper to a recyclable sludge.

Archive Destruction

For large amounts of non-highly sensitive documents, a larger industrial shredder is used  for destruction.  This machine pulps large amounts of paper waste quickly and efficiently – ready for the paper to be compacted and then transported to a recycling plant.
